The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment to safely load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to precisely position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Utilize top loaders, side loaders, and/or cranes for efficient stacking, movement, and organization of containers.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistics and daily tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders/stairs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and a strong ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and a keen attention to detail.
• Must pass a background verification, physical, and drug screening.
