Mapper Programmer in Brooklyn, NY

Tasks & Duties:

• Study specs, determine feasibility, and implement complex solutions using MAPPER/BIS CoolICE, MAPPER/BIS programming/databases, and MAPPER/BIS GUI UI/UX.
• Design reports, audit trails, and security mechanisms in batch, web, and MAPPER programs.
• Maintain physical database structures, monitor performance, and execute backup/recovery procedures.
• Provide technical support assistance, contact customers to clarify features, and generate requested management reports.
• Execute program/system testing, implement QA standards, and provide production support for NYCWAY applications.

Required Skills: A minimum of 6 years of experience with MAPPER/BIS programming and databases; MAPPER/BIS CoolICE; .NET/Javascript; MAPPER/BIS GUI UI/UX; MAPPER/BIS Mainframe; creating/maintaining mainframe DBs; UNISYS mainframe and PC environments; requirement analysis, system design, test plans, and technical documentation; designing 3-tiered applications.
