Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid

This employer is a leading European paper industry company, recognized for its commitment to sustainability by utilizing 100% recycled paper. Operating across various divisions including graphical papers, corrugated base paper, and packaging, they are a stable and forward-thinking family business. They are currently seeking a skilled individual to join their production team.

The Role

  • Operate and monitor paper manufacturing machinery, both on-site and from the control room.
  • Manage the startup and shutdown sequences of the paper machine, and restore the paper web in case of breaks.
  • Perform felt changes and guide assigned personnel.
  • Conduct cleaning of machinery parts and replace scrapers.
  • Adjust and inspect paper web tension.
  • Monitor quality parameters using control room, quality control systems, and laboratory data.

What You'll Need

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Willingness to work in a 5-shift system.
