We're hiring on behalf of a reputable organization supporting critical government operations, known for its commitment to public service and technical excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant projects within the Civilian Division.

The Role

• Review, revise, and edit documents including manuals, instructions, and technical orders to ensure adherence to style guidelines and best practices.
• Standardize and organize content from subject matter experts for improved clarity, flow, and readability.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather information and produce original written drafts for review.
• Prepare, edit, and revise various documentation such as reports, correspondence, and briefings.
• Ensure grammatical correctness and clarity in all written materials using attention to detail and recognized editorial techniques.
• Maintain an up-to-date listing of technical documents, including key data and revision schedules.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to pass a Public Trust Security Investigation (US Citizenship required).
• Strong editing and writing skills with the ability to adapt to various formats, styles, and "voices."
• Experience with records management processes and developing filing systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with federally-mandated "plain language" principles is a plus.
