SEND Teacher | Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate educators to join a community dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, adapting to their individual learning styles and needs.
• Plan and deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lesson progress and provide regular feedback on student development.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD,and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching core subjects (Maths, English, Science).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
