Description
This position supports the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) Knowledge Sharing Network (KSN) built on the Microsoft SharePoint platform. The incumbent will create and administer sites used by Engineering Services to support their organization and the multitude of individual projects they manage. This job is based in the eastern part of the United States.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide support in KSN site design, architecture, and functionality
Create and customize individual KSN project sites and assist users in the creation and
customization of project sites to meet specific program and project needs
Create web parts to manage overall KSN site content and content layout and create a
functionally and visually effective program and project information sharing tool
Develop custom workflows through analysis of stakeholder requirements to better
automate document management
Provide suggestions to increase efficiency of overall KSN content, functionality, and to better match with FAA business processes
Provide support in the communication of various KSN-related or project-related items
Ensure that the KSN sites are maintained and properly designed to allow for access
to pertinent data and reporting of data
Provide support in reporting of various items
related to information on the KSN sites; analyze and organize data collected from
stakeholders for presentation, and communicate required reports effectively

Develop workload reports utilizing GANT charts to show project assignments and
milestones
Provide monthly and semi-annual status reports in accordance with
established format
Qualifications
Typical Education and Experience:

• BS in Computer Science and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2013 or similar collaboration system Site Administration required
• Knowledge of and experience with .NET 3.5/4.0, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, JQuery, MS Power Platforms and JSON
• Knowledge of and experience in Enterprise Records Management (ERM), Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) and/or Enterprise Information Management (EIM) is highly beneficial
• ship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
