Hansen Talent Group is seeking an Endpoint Systems Administrator to support enterprise workstation management, endpoint automation, and software deployment initiatives within a large-scale Windows environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on endpoint engineer with experience in Intune, software packaging, Windows administration, and scripting. Candidates local to Columbia, SC are preferred due to the hybrid work schedule.

The Endpoint Automation Specialist will partner with infrastructure, engineering, and support teams to design, deploy, maintain, and improve endpoint management solutions supporting thousands of users across the enterprise.

Duties:

  • Deploy, maintain, and support Windows workstation operating systems, software packages, patches, and endpoint configurations.
  • Package, test, and deploy applications using SCCM/MECM, BigFix, Intune, and related endpoint management tools.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell and/or Python automation scripts to improve endpoint management processes.
  • Configure and support Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex workstation, software deployment, hardware, VPN, VDI, and endpoint management issues.
  • Support operating system imaging, endpoint provisioning, hardware standards, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Monitor endpoint health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before user impact occurs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support guides.
  • Collaborate with engineering and support teams on Windows modernization, endpoint security, automation, and remote access initiatives.
  • Research and recommend new technologies and process improvements to enhance the end-user experience.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Windows workstations, desktop engineering, endpoint administration, or systems support environments.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management technologies.
  • Experience with SCCM/MECM, BigFix, or enterprise software deployment platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience developing scripts using PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting and endpoint support experience.
  • Experience supporting VPN, VDI, remote access, and virtual desktop environments.
  • Knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD) and MDM technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A+ Certification.
  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops/XenDesktop.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, or other automation and analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting cloud-native endpoint management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and enterprise ITSM processes.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite during training, then approximately 3 days onsite / 2 days remote).
