Role:Java Solution Architect

Location: Philadelphia ,PA  - Hybrd

Job Summary

  • Build a greenfield enterprise operations platform with a shared application shell supporting budget planning and maintenance/work-order management across 41 sites.
  • Establish the AWS cloud foundation using Infrastructure-as-Code, including VPC, ECS Fargate, RDS PostgreSQL, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, and CI/CD.
  • Develop scalable Node.js/Express REST APIs with modular PostgreSQL schemas, optimized queries, migrations, and cross-module data relationships.
  • Implement enterprise authentication, role-based access, site hierarchy, multi-level approvals, and granular permission workflows.
  • Build a compliant immutable, append-only audit framework with year-based partitioning, long-term retention, and regulatory traceability.
  • Develop a responsive React Progressive Web App (PWA) serving both desktop planners and mobile field technicians.
  • Enable offline-first field operations using IndexedDB, service workers, queued synchronization, conflict resolution, and secure S3 photo uploads.
  • Implement robust CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, security, deployment, and production support practices.
  • Deliver end-to-end features through technical design, architecture documentation, stakeholder collaboration, integration/UAT, and continuous performance improvement.
