Join our new Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy team! Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region.  Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies with the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.

We are looking for Pharmacy Technicians interested in expanding their experience by joining our new team. This role will work at our location at 4910 Executive Way, Suite D, Frederick, MD 21703.

What you'll do in our Pharmacy Technician roles:

Work in an innovative environment with cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities include identifying, selecting and verifying pharmaceutical products, expiration dates and lot numbers; labels and weighs medication for accuracy; prepares packages and distributes medications in a fast-paced production environment; replenishes automated counting machines in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.

Are you a good fit for our Pharmacy Technician roles? Yes, if you:

• Meet state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy for the state of Maryland
• Certified Pharmacy Technicians must also hold and active/valid PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) national certification certificate
