Summary:
The Data Analyst II position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in data analysis and visualization. The role involves working onsite to develop and maintain analytic reports, identify growth opportunities, and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $49.00 - $49.62 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.

Summary:

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytic reports, simplifying complex problems into actionable insights.
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets.
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing protocols for data handling and cleaning.
- Collaborate with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
- Proactively analyze data to answer key stakeholder questions and investigate areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics.
- 5-7 years of experience in data analysis or business data analysis.
- Proven analytic skills, including data mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization.
- Technical writing experience in queries, reports, and presentations.
- Strong skills in Google BigQuery, SQL, or Excel, with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
- 5 years of experience using reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Experience with transactional data sets.
- Previous experience in ecommerce analytics or a similar function with a focus on data analysis.
- Executive-level PowerPoint creation experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in Tableau.
- Strong data modeling capabilities.
- Advanced SQL skills.
