THE WORK The GG SIGNAL SWE leading multi faceted mission critical system development, deployment and evolution. The successful candidate will provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support, analyze signals of interest, and design software modules for advanced signal processing. This role requires expertise in both coding and signal processing to optimize customer accesses and develop innovative processing solutions.
The following are the primary functions of the position: SIGINT Development Support: • Provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support to optimize and develop assigned customer accesses, ensuring effective signal processing and intelligence gathering.
Signal Analysis: • Analyze module/model output from signals of interest to facilitate the creation of follow-on processing, enhancing the overall effectiveness of signal interpretation.
Software Design and Implementation: • Design and implement software modules in MATLAB or similar design suites to process signals of interest, ensuring adherence to performance and accuracy standards.
Novel Processing Solutions: • Develop novel approaches for utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) systems to create processing solutions beyond their intended use, optimizing resource utilization.
Collaboration: • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers and analysts, to gather requirements and ensure the successful integration of software modules into broader systems.
Documentation: • Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, algorithms, and software implementations to facilitate knowledge transfer and project continuity. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Considered an expert, authority in discipline. •Possess all capabilities as defined by the GG Statement of work (SOW) Appendix B for the USG standard SWE labor category level 3. ***You must possess the requisite security clearance and polygraphs to apply to this position***
Desired Skills Technical Skills: • Demonstrated experience coding in C/C++ and Python. • Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), specifically REDHAWK/RFNext, GNU Radio, or similar platforms. • Strong background in RF signals analysis and SIGnals DEVelopment (SIGDEV). • Familiarity with development suites such as MATLAB or X-Midas for signal processing tasks. • Ability to design, develop, and implement systems within a Unix/Linux environment.
Containerization Technologies: • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications. Digital Signal Processing (DSP): • Strong understanding of DSP principles, with a background in satellite communications system design and the implementation of these concepts into software.
Geolocation Technologies: • Familiarity with time and/or frequency geolocation technologies and their implementation in signal processing applications. C++/Python-Based Tools: • Experience with C++/Python-based signal processing tools and libraries.
GPU/CUDA Development: • Knowledge of GPU/CUDA development for performance optimization in signal processing applications.
Message Queue Implementation: • Experience with message queue implementation and communication protocols for efficient data handling.
Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. - Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
