HR Manager

Milton Keynes, 5 days a week office based

£60,000 - £65,000

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role where you can make a real impact? Join an established and growing organisation in Milton Keynes, taking ownership of a broad HR function and working closely with senior leadership.


This is a hands-on opportunity covering everything from employee relations and recruitment to performance, development, and wellbeing, with plenty of scope to improve processes and shape the employee experience.


Key Responsibilities for a HR Manager


  • Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, and performance matters.
  • Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, processes, and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, appraisals, and ongoing employee development.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on workforce planning, organisational development, employee engagement, and business improvement initiatives.
  • Support the effective management and compliance of company-wide operational responsibilities alongside the HR function.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and organisational effectiveness.


Key Skills for a HR Manager


  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience
  • Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law
