Cloud Engineer - W2

Introduction:

This position is ideal for a skilled Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for managing various AWS services such as EKS, EC2, and S3. The role involves implementing and managing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, as well as ensuring cloud infrastructure operations and security best practices are in place. The Cloud Engineer will also work on application deployment using Argo CD and collaborate with stakeholders for effective project management.

Responsibilities:

• AWS services: EKS, EC2, S3
• Application deployment using Argo CD
• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation and management
• Cloud infrastructure and platform operations
• Cloud security best practices
• Project management using Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies
• Stakeholder management and collaboration
• Technical leadership in backlog grooming, roadmap management, and feature prioritization
• Resource planning and allocation management
• Monitoring team velocity and coordinating with offshore teams for project delivery

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with Amazon EC2, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon S3
• Knowledge of Argo CD for application deployment and GitOps workflows
• Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and project management using Jira
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with any analytics platform such as Tableau or Spotfire
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
