SEN / SEND Tutor | Kenilworth, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We're hiring for an impact-driven community initiative dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and SEMH. Join us to create flexible, creative, and trauma-informed learning experiences that make a real difference.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1-KS5, including those with MLD, SLD, and PMLD, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
