Mechanic/ Forklift Associate

Express Employment Professionals of Covina, CA, is seeking a Mechanic /
Forklift candidate for our client located in the City of Baldwin Park.

Mechanic / Forklift - $18.00-$21.00/hr

Shift Hours:

• Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
• Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

A local company in the City of Baldwin Park is looking for a dependable
and experienced individual to assist with forklift operations, equipment
maintenance, and hands-on mechanical duties. The ideal candidate will have
forklift experience, general mechanical skills, and the ability to perform
routine maintenance and repairs on company equipment and machines.

Job Highlights

• Operating a sit-down forklift to move and organize materials
• Performing hands-on mechanical work and basic equipment maintenance
• Troubleshooting and assisting with repairs on company machines and equipment
• Performing routine inspections and identifying mechanical issues
• Assisting with preventative maintenance as needed
• Safely loading, unloading, and moving materials
• Assisting with general warehouse and material-handling duties
• Driving a regular company truck as needed
• Keeping equipment, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Following all company safety procedures and work instructions

What We Look for

• Approximately 2 years of mechanical or equipment maintenance experience
• Sit-down forklift experience required
• Hands-on mechanical experience required
• Experience working with machinery, equipment, or industrial systems preferred
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills
• Comfortable driving a regular truck
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Available Schedules:

• 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
