AI Tech Lead / Databricks / AWS Bedrock / Fully Remote

A rapidly growing technology and analytics organization is seeking an experienced AI Tech Lead to help drive the next generation of enterprise AI solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Databricks, Generative AI, LLM orchestration frameworks, MLOps platforms, and cloud-based AI services. The team partners with major enterprise clients to build highly scalable AI products that deliver measurable business value.
This is more than a traditional technical lead position. The organization is looking for a hands-on AI expert who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while mentoring other engineers and helping establish AI best practices across the team. Candidates will have the opportunity to influence architecture decisions, shape AI strategy, and work alongside experienced leaders in a collaborative environment that values innovation, autonomy, and continuous development. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of AI, machine learning, or advanced data engineering experience
• Production experience designing and deploying AI/ML systems
• Strong expertise with Databricks ecosystem including Unity Catalog
• Experience building Generative AI and LLM-based applications
• Deep understanding of MLOps concepts and best practices
• Strong Python and SQL development skills
• Experience working in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or similar AI platforms
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent frameworks
• Prior technical leadership or mentoring experience
• Experience building RAG, agentic AI, or conversational AI solutions
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Domo
• Experience supporting enterprise-level deployments
