Systems Analyst 1
Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)
Role Overview
This organization is seeking a Systems Analyst for a contract position. The successful candidate will oversee Configuration Management Database (CMDB) support services, manage CMDB health, and ensure data integrity to support various ITSM processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical and communication skills to maintain the stability and performance of the CMDB.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee CMDB support services according to Service Level Agreements (SLA), including requests to provision and de-provision Configuration Items (CIs).
• Perform regular maintenance work, such as ServiceNow discovery, CMDB health check-ups, de-duplication tasks, and data cleanup.
• Manage the daily administration, stability, and performance of the CMDB.
• Administer the CMDB Health Dashboard.
• Create and maintain custom and out-of-the-box integrations.
• Review critical incident outage resolution results and dispositions of failed changes related to CMS issues.
• Ensure CMDB data is available and reliable to support other ITSM processes such as Change, Incident, and Problem Management.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with IT Configuration Management Health and Data Management.
• 3 years of experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• 3 years of experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 2 years of experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• 2 years of experience with Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• 2 years of experience with IT Service Management and ITIL practices.
• 1 year of experience with IT Operations management.
• 1 year of experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
• Knowledge of CMDB CSDM and CI relationships, CMDB Ownership Process, CI and Asset LCM process, and Transform Maps.
• CMDB Analysis, Reporting, PA, CSA, and Discovery Certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with IT Service Management, ITIL practices.
• 2 years of experience demonstrating detail-oriented work.
• 1 year of experience understanding how vendor, contracts, and software licenses data must be related to each other and assets within a CMDB.
• ITIL Foundations or ITIL Practitioners Certification.
