VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery) for an acute care hospital in Plainview, TX.

Contract details

- Weekly pay: $2,254/wk

- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)

- Shift: Evening (3x12 Hours) 15:00 3:30

- Duration: 13 weeks

- Start date: 11/30/2026

About the assignment

- Rural hospital (49 beds, Level IV trauma); often one L&D nurse per shift with charge nurse or on-call backup

- Manages labor patients plus OB triage and outpatient OB; assists with postpartum and nursery as needed

- No floating to other units required

- Weekends: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; no on-call

- First-time travelers accepted

- Dress code: navy blue scrubs

- Free parking

Requirements

- Active Texas RN license (compact accepted)

- Recent independent Labor and Delivery experience

- BLS, ACLS and NRP
