Job Description

PA to Director of Learning

Part-Time, 2 Days per Week

£35,000–£37,000 FTE

We're partnering with a highly regarded organisation in the arts and performance sector to find a confident and experienced PA to support their Director of Learning.

This is a busy, hands-on role where you'll be the go-to person for keeping the Director organised and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll need to be proactive, responsive and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a busy and changing diary
  • Ensure the Director is well prepared for meetings and commitments
  • Coordinating travel, expenses and other practical arrangements
  • Preparing, collating and distributing board papers and meeting materials
  • Coordinating meetings, taking care of follow-ups and providing general administrative support
  • Helping to keep projects and priorities on track
  • Supporting the wider Learning team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks
  • Acting as a reliable first point of contact, building positive relationships with colleagues and external contacts

What we're looking for:

  • At least 2 years' PA experience, ideally supporting at senior level
  • A proactive, organised and highly dependable approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Someone who can use their initiative and anticipate what needs doing rather than always waiting to be asked
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A calm, level-headed and approachable manner
  • Previous experience or a genuine interest in the arts, culture or performance sector

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive PA who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and is looking for a flexible part-time role within a creative and purpose-led organisation.
