Pay Range: $65/hr - $68/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with PostgreSQL for database operations, including schema design and query optimization
• Integrate with Azure OpenAI and embedding models for LLM-powered features
• Architect and design LLM evaluation, prompt optimization, drift detection
• Write strong clean typed Python code that's production ready
• Write unit and integration tests (pytest) with high coverage; participate in code reviews

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Python, FastAPI, React and TypeScript, modern frontend tooling such as TanStack, Vite, and component libraries, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Postgres.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python (3.10+), FastAPI, and async/await patterns
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations)
• Experience integrating with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) and building AI-powered features
• Experience with building test suites, golden data sets, and LLM evaluation
• Some familiarity with LLM components such as tokenization, cache, etc.
• Strong code quality practices type annotations, linting, automated testing
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently in a distributed team
• Familiarity with Pydantic, dependency injection patterns, and repository-pattern architectures is a plus
• Familiarity with tokenization, caching, and AI infrastructure concepts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a distributed team
