Job Description

Java Software Developer


Public sector client seeking an enthusiastic Java/Microservices engineer to join a growing digital service team, developing functional code for each of the service's quarterly releases. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and important public sector digital service that's expected to scale significantly over the next few years.


Rate: £445/day, Inside IR35

Location: Mostly remote, occasional visits to Telford

Duration: 3 months (extension possible)

Clearance: BPSS, SC preferred and minimum eligible for SC

Sector: Public Sector


You'll need:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Git, Swagger and SQL
  • Experience with MongoDB, code writing, software testing and application monitoring
  • Kubernetes and Shell experience desirable but not essential
