Junior Platform Engineer

Location: Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid)

An exciting opportunity for a DevOps/Platform Engineer to join a growing platform team supporting cloud-based applications and services. This role offers excellent exposure to Linux, Kubernetes, automation, cloud technologies and deployment processes within a modern DevOps environment.

You'll work closely with experienced engineers to help deliver software upgrades, support platform operations, troubleshoot issues and improve deployment processes across multiple environments.

• Support application releases and platform upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain cloud-based environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Assist with automation and operational improvements.
• Work with development and engineering teams to deliver reliable services.
• Contribute to documentation and best practices.

• Experience with Linux administration.
• Basic Kubernetes knowledge or hands-on exposure.
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of cloud and DevOps principles.
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn.
