Position: Driver / Branch Assistant
Salary: £26,832 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week MON-FRI 08:30-17:00/07:00 - 15:30 (ROTA) *NO WEEKENDS!
Location: Williams, Tunbridge Jones Business Park, Cradock Road, Reading RG2 0JT

We're looking for a Driver / Branch Assistant to join our friendly and busy team in Reading! You’ll be involved in both the preparation of goods for deliveries and the deliveries themselves, so a good attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are a must!
Previous Forklift experience and qualifications would be ideal, but are not essential, we provide full in-house Forklift Training for our staff members!
As our Driver / Branch Assistant, you'll be:
Delivering orders safely, efficiently and with the excellent customer service
Using forklifts (if qualified / once we train you) and other mechanical aids
Picking goods and preparing orders for delivery
Receipting, storing and replenishing goods
Undertaking inventory control
Helping to keep the warehouse clean, tidy and a safe
General branch duties to support the team in the successful running of the branch
Ideally, you are:
Highly accurate in your approach to work with good attention to detail
Able to work in what can sometimes be a physically challenging role
Respectful in adhering to Health & Safety guidelines at all times
Keen to meet deadlines with a flexible approach to daily tasks
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
A great team player who makes a positive contribution
