This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the world's leading algorithmic trading firms. Bringing together driven, entrepreneurial talent from diverse technical disciplines, the firm has developed one of the most advanced computing environments for research and development, with data at the heart of everything that they do.
As a Research Data Expert, you will own a designated data domain. You will also manage the full end-to-end pipeline from vendor downloads to trading-ready data.
Additionally, you'll collaborate directly with researchers, providing them with fully featurized datasets and driving forward the business through rigorous data analysis and delivery.
This role would suit a strong problem-solver with outstanding attention to detail who thrives in a fast-evolving and energetic environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a specific data domain (e.g. alternative data, fundamentals, security reference or economic data)
  • Strong programming skills in Python/R (ideally) and proficiency in data science methodologies
  • Proven track record of building alpha through detailed data analysis
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Undergraduate degree in a STEM field

Benefits & Incentives
  • Market-leading salary + bonuses + generous benefits package
  • Truly flat management structure, with no red tape or information siloes
  • Friendly culture where everyone's ideas are encouraged and celebrated
  • Feel valued and be rewarded for your hard work where coding is front and centre
