Location: Cochran, GA 
Compensation: $21-$25/hour + Incentive Bonus 
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM + Overtime

About the Role 

Gilmer is seeking a Production Line Lead to oversee daily production operations at our flagship Cochran facility. This hands-on leadership role manages a team of approximately 15-25 employees while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and customer requirements are met.

What You'll Do 

• Lead and support a production team of 15-25 employees 

• Assign workstations and manage daily staffing needs 

• Monitor line performance, productivity, and quality standards 

• Ensure products are packaged, labeled, assembled, and palletized according to customer specifications 

• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate production goals 

• Train, coach, and develop team members 

• Complete production documentation and quality records 

• Identify and escalate production, equipment, inventory, or quality issues 

• Assist with line setups, changeovers, and startup activities 

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment 

• Drive accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement 

What We're Looking For 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• 2+ years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, co-packing, or industrial operations experience 

• Leadership, Team Lead, or supervisory experience preferred 

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to motivate, train, and lead employees 

• Basic computer skills 

• Experience with safety, quality, and production standards 

• Forklift experience is a plus 

• Ability to work overtime as needed 

Physical Requirements 

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift 

• Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. 

• Work around conveyors, forklifts, and production equipment 

• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
