SEN / SEND Tutor | Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated SEND Tutors and Teachers to join an impactful organisation committed to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide tailored support, enabling vulnerable learners to thrive.

The Role

• Provide targeted Maths, English, or Science tuition (in-person, remote, or hybrid) to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Work with children and young people referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and report on lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (can be facilitated).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
