£55,000- £65,000 plus benefits.
Location – Midlands Based, occasional Home Working

With broadband speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, new Wi-Fi 6 technology, exceptional customer service, and costing no more than current competitive internet packages, customer growth is expected to be exponential . We now seek dynamic, ambitious individuals to join our Delivery Team.
The Role:
As a “Connector” you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide the UK with faultless broadband at unprecedented speeds. We have a revolutionary, premium, future-proof product that is fairer, faster, and flawless for our customers. As we enter our next phase of deployment, we are hiring an experienced FTTP Build Delivery Manager to oversee the comprehensive management of our FTTP Network Builds from Test Rod and Rope through to the Ready for Service Handover, you will also be responsible for managing our team of Fibre Build Leads.
Internally and externally, you will serve as the foremost advocate for Connect Fibre, dedicated to delivering an excellent FTTP Network, thus contributing to the establishment of a fast-growing Alt Net. Fostering a culture of communication and collaboration among teams is paramount, as you drive both accountability and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in the running of the Build Programmes, overseeing suppliers and Build Partners, while cultivating strong and balanced relationships and embracing challenges.
At the heart of this role lies leadership and unwavering responsibility for your Build Programmes and Fibre Build Leads. A genuine passion for constructing exceptional FTTP Networks is essential, alongside the ability to adeptly lead teams and Build Partners towards achieving remarkable results, all while aligning with business goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
As our FTTP Build Delivery Manager, you will be tasked with, but not limited to, some of the items below:
• Accountable for managing large and complex FTTP Network Builds to completion and handover on time, and within budget.
• Manage and mentor the Connect Fibre Build Team, performing 121s, performance reviews, and cultivating a collaborative and high performing team.
• Quality and Health & Safety champion, promoting and managing excellence in all SHEQ practises for Build Leads and Build Partners.
• Ensure that all builds adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and Connect Fibres Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the build lifecycles.
• Identifying risks and issues ahead of time and providing solutions and mitigation plans.
• Using RAID methodology to monitor all internal and external build risks and be closely aligned with the PCO Officer.
• Conduct site visits with both internal and external stakeholders to monitor builds on site.
• Analysing and reporting on Build Partner performance and productivity.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a seasoned fibre network build expert, who will uphold the highest of standards in department and our builds. We require a charismatic and forward-thinking individual who can champion success and build strong teams.
• A proven record of accomplishment of building brilliant FTTP networks in the UK fibre industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Openreach PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) for both overhead and underground fibre delivery.
• In depth technical knowledge of FTTP Network Build methodologies and principals, inclusive of iOLM and other testing processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations.
• A hands-on approach to management with strong leadership and directing skills leading the Build Team from the front.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, agility, and the ability to provide exceptional support and direction to the wider team when needed to keep your build programmes on track ~ safety, time, cost, quality.
• Must be able to process information quickly and make accurate and informed decisions in a fast-paced environment, supporting other team members to do the same to enable build programme success.
• Experience in managing multiple build programmes at the same time
• All modules of PIA accreditation
• Street works (NRWSA) Supervisor
• Project management qualification such as “Scrum” or “Agile” Foundation or equivalent a benefit
