HGV Driver | Tamworth, United Kingdom | On-site
We're hiring on behalf of a leading logistics company revolutionizing grocery shopping. This employer utilizes a state-of-the-art fleet and cutting-edge fulfillment centers to deliver essential products across the UK. They are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment, recognizing the crucial role their drivers play in their mission.
The Role
• Operate a state-of-the-art HGV fleet, including some natural gas-powered vehicles.
• Transport and collect products between customer fulfillment centers and regional warehouse sites.
• Adhere to fixed routes with no multi-drop deliveries.
• Work flexible shifts, with options for 4-day (32 hours) or 5-day (40 hours) work weeks.
• Conduct routes up to 12.5 hours per day, with occasional additional hours as needed.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods during overnight, late-day, or early-morning operations.
What You'll Need
• A valid Category C+E driving licence.
• A maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• Desired: Minimum of 6 months of driving experience.
• Demonstrate safe and competent driving skills.
• Ability to be flexible with shift lengths.
