Cutover Manager Major HR Technology Transformation Brisbane Contract Large-Scale Transformation

Sharp & Carter Technology is partnering with a major Queensland organisation to appoint an experienced Cutover Manager for a significant enterprise-wide HR technology transformation.

This is a senior delivery role responsible for planning, governing and executing the end-to-end cutover of a new Human Capital Management solution into production.

The Role Working across technology and business teams, you will take ownership of the integrated cutover strategy and coordinate the transition through production readiness, go-live and hypercare.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and owning the end-to-end cutover and deployment strategy
• Building and managing an integrated cutover plan, including critical-path activities and dependencies
• Coordinating development, test, training, UAT, pre-production and production environments
• Managing dependencies across technical, testing, data, change, training and business readiness teams
• Coordinating data migration, validation and production readiness activities
• Planning and executing cutover rehearsals
• Leading go-live execution and cutover command centre activities
• Managing risks, issues, dependencies and escalation pathways
• Coordinating hypercare and transition into operational support

The environment includes SAP SuccessFactors, integrations, reporting platforms and legacy systems.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Cutover Manager who has operated within large, complex enterprise transformation programs.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading complex cutover and deployment activities
• Strong experience across SAP, SuccessFactors, HRIS, HCMS or payroll transformation
• Experience developing detailed integrated cutover and deployment plans
• Strong understanding of environment management, release planning and production readiness
• Experience coordinating data migration and validation activities
• Proven ability to manage complex technical and business dependencies
• Experience leading high-pressure go-live and hypercare periods
• Strong risk, issue and stakeholder management capability
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take a key leadership role within a major transformation involving the replacement of a legacy HR/payroll platform with a modern HCMS solution built around SAP SuccessFactors. The broader program is intended to streamline more than 24 existing systems and improve workforce management, recruitment, onboarding, reporting and related processes.
