General Technician

Quad seeks a General Technician to support IT and production systems across our integrated marketing environment. In this role, you will install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices used in print and digital operations. You will monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and respond to service tickets to minimize downtime. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll support networked equipment, follow safety and security procedures, document work, and assist with technology upgrades, while continuously learning new tools and platforms in our fast-paced, innovative setting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve IT support tickets promptly
• Support IT systems used in print and digital production environments
• Monitor system performance and perform routine preventive maintenance
• Assist with networked device setup, upgrades, and replacements
• Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions
• Follow safety, security, and data protection policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology needs
• Support implementation of new tools and platforms
• Provide basic user training on systems and equipment
