Improve onboarding and help users reach a meaningful first result quickly.
Speak with users, identify problems, prioritize solutions, and write specifications when useful.
Find points of friction in the product and improve activation, retention, and other key metrics.
Polish interaction details, including empty states, copy, layout, and edge cases.
Work closely with design and growth teammates, contributing wherever a small team needs support.

Three to ten or more years of experience building and shipping software products.
Experience owning a user-facing product from discovery through launch, with real users and measurable results.
Full-stack skills, including React, Python, APIs, and deployment.
Experience building AI or agent products for real users, and using agentic AI tools or AI-assisted coding in your workflow.
Strong product judgment, user empathy, design sensibility, and a bias toward shipping.
Experience moving a metric such as activation, retention, or conversion is valued, as is early-stage startup or founder experience.
Experience with Modal for infrastructure or container orchestration is useful.
