Head of Product, AI Enablement (f/m/d)

Purpose of Position

Own the product agenda for how AI creates real, measurable value across Awin — translating AI capability into shipped product outcomes, not experiments. 

Context 

Thousands of advertisers and publishers who stay on Awin platform because of the people and product behind the service. The next chapter of Awin's product strategy is defined by how deliberately we put AI to work — not as a slogan, but as a set of practical capabilities embedded into what we build and how the business runs. 

Most companies treat AI as a layer bolted onto existing product thinking. We want the opposite: a Head of Product who treats AI as core to the product strategy itself — where it belongs, what it should never touch, and how it compounds value over time rather than producing one-off wins. 

What you'll own 

• Product strategy for AI-driven value. Define where AI genuinely changes the economics or experience of our product — and where it doesn't. Prioritise like a product leader: value creation and value capture, not novelty.
• Translate capability into roadmap. Convert what AI can practically do today into a prioritised, sequenced product agenda with clear outcomes — not a lab of disconnected pilots.
• Own outcomes, not outputs. Every initiative under your remit is judged on measurable business impact — adoption, efficiency, revenue, or customer outcome — not on whether something "uses AI."
• Partner at exec level. Work directly with leadership to align AI investment with company priorities, and defend that investment in commercial terms.
• Lead a product team. Hire and develop the product talent needed to execute — with real ownership over people and budget.
• Set the standard for build vs. buy. Make disciplined calls on when to adopt existing AI tooling versus build proprietary capability, with opportunity cost as the deciding factor.
• Champion practical adoption over theatre. Internal and external users are your test of success — if a capability isn't used, it isn't done. 

Who you are 

• Product leader with technical fluency. You've run product organisations and you understand, in practical terms, where AI creates leverage versus where it's a distraction.
• Outcome-obsessed. You think in business impact first, technology second.
• Commercially sharp. You can defend a roadmap in P&L terms as comfortably as in a product review.
• Credible with engineering. You can go deep enough on data, APIs, and model capability to make good calls, without needing to be the one building it.
• A builder of teams, not just plans — you know how to hire and develop product talent that ships. 

What success looks like 

• A clear, prioritised AI product agenda in place; first initiatives shipped with measurable adoption.
• A functioning product team; multiple AI-enabled capabilities live and driving demonstrable business outcomes.
• AI is a defining, differentiated part of Awin's product experience — not a side initiative, but core to how the product wins in market. 

What this role is not

Not an automation function. Not a central bureaucracy that runs projects for other teams. Not a lab for AI experimentation without a business case. This is a product leadership role — where AI is the primary lens, not a side interest.
