Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hogan Application Developer with strong Core Banking domain knowledge and hands-on IBM Mainframe development experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting Hogan banking applications while contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications within the Hogan Core Banking platform.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and support applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM on IBM Mainframe.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver banking application enhancements.
  • Support application releases, change management, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Follow established development, testing, security, and change-management processes within a regulated banking environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Multiple years of hands-on Hogan application development experience in Core Banking environments.
  • Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM on IBM Mainframe/z/OS.
  • Experience with one or more Hogan modules, such as CIS, DDA, TDA, LNS, IDS/Umbrella, or PEM.
  • Strong understanding of Core Banking processes and functions.
  • Experience with common Mainframe development and support tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience working in regulated banking environments and following established change-management procedures.
