Software Engineer

job summary:

Seeking a skilled SDE III - Digital Payments to join our Emerging Technology team. In this role, you will lead hands-on full-stack development with a strong focus on high-volume API development, microservices architecture, and payment processing integration. You will collaborate closely with engineering leads and architects to design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

responsibilities:

? Hands-on Development (90%): Focus on coding in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET to build and maintain software solutions.

? Design Collaboration: Participate in design discussions and work closely with the Engineering Lead, Manager, and Architects to understand and contribute to the design process early on. Take on responsibilities as a module lead for certain assignments.

? Creating Best Practices: Develop generic components and templates that the team can use, ensuring they adhere to best practices like the Twelve-Factor App principles and strong design patterns.

? Knowledge Sharing: Take an active role in training the team on technology-related topics. Share expertise and best practices, contributing to the knowledge growth within the team and across the organization.

? Automation: Work as a full-stack developer with a focus on end-to-end development, including automating CI/CD pipelines.

qualifications:

Required:

? C# (entity framework, IOC/DI), .NET, SQL, Azure

? RESTFUL API/Microservices

? 5-6+ years software development experience required

? Microsoft Azure experience, experience with Azure tools such as ADO, App Insights, Azure Service Bus etc.

Nice to have:

? Payments, Unit testing, Automation testing.

? Experience with integrating payment processors (ex: Stripe, Adyen)

? Strong proficiency in building APIs or payment gateways-nice to have, not required.

? Experience with full-stack development and automation, particularly in CI/CD processes.
