Principal Systems Engineer | Marlborough, MA, United States | Hybrid

They are seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to develop creative and cost-effective solutions for ground and airborne systems. This role is an integral part of a team specializing in advanced communication systems, computing, sensors, and cyber solutions.
The Role
- Oversee the full lifecycle development of systems, from CONOPS to Validation.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing advanced knowledge within the discipline.
- Lead lab activities, including definition, setup, configuration management, and testing.
- Ensure Modeling, Hardware, and Software Interfaces utilize a scalable ontology.
- Oversee and support the integration of solutions into their target environments.
- Coach, review, and delegate tasks to junior professional staff.
What You'll Need
- Strong integration and test experience, including test procedure development, execution, reporting, and automation.
- Knowledge of or application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
- Proficiency in tooling such as Microsoft products or task management boards (Jira, IBM EWM, etc.).
- A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued SECRET security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
