MES Engineer

Role: MES Engineer
Location: St. Albans, Vermont — Onsite
Duration: 11 months and 3 weeks
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MES recipes using Rockwell
• Optimize recipes to improve efficiency, quality, and system performance
• Support MES deployments, including testing, troubleshooting, and go-live activities
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, QA, and Operations to align MES with manufacturing requirements
• Provide production support and resolve MES-related issues
• Maintain technical documentation
• Support validation and compliance activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MES experience, preferably with Rockwell MES
• Experience with recipe/workflow authoring and system configuration
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and batch operations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries such as Pharma or Food & Beverage
• Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV) and GMP requirements
• Knowledge of Rockwell automation systems, including PLC and SCADA

Must-Haves:

1. MES experience
2. Manufacturing processes / batch operations knowledge
3. Life Sciences experience
4. Rockwell MES/automation experience preferred
5. Troubleshooting and production support
