Expert Database Architect

Introduction:

The Expert Database Architect will be responsible for working with Oracle data warehouses, data marts, and OLTP databases. They will oversee the creation and modification of Oracle database tables, write and execute SQL queries, guide ETL teams in the development and monitoring of ETL processes, and investigate and resolve data integrity issues.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Oracle data warehouses, data marts, and OLTP databases.
• Oversee the creation/modification of Oracle database tables.
• Write and execute SQL queries for querying various Oracle databases.
• Guide ETL teams in the development and monitoring of ETL processes using Informatica Power Center and Rhapsody.
• Investigate and resolve design and build issues, data loading, and data integrity issues.
• Performance tuning Informatica/Rhapsody workflows.
• Develop ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica/Rhapsody.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 84+ months of experience writing SQL, PL/SQL, with Oracle 12c or higher.
• 84 months of experience developing Rhapsody routes, acquiring and managing millions of records of data including XML and HL7 message formats.
• 84 months of experience using Informatica 8.x or higher in a data warehouse environment.
• 84 months of experience with Informatica Data Quality 8.x or higher.
• 84 months of experience specifying and conducting system testing and user acceptance testing.
• 60 months of experience developing project timelines and gathering business requirements.
• 48 months of experience in programming public sector government IT projects.
• Project Management Professional Certification.
