Job Title: ServiceNow Application Developer
Location: Irving, TX.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) to design, develop, configure, and support applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow application development, JavaScript, platform configuration, integrations, workflows, security, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and enhance scoped and custom ServiceNow applications.
• Configure tables, forms, lists, fields, business rules, UI policies, and data relationships.
• Develop Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and other ServiceNow components.
• Develop server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
• Design and implement workflows and automation using Flow Designer.
• Configure roles, ACLs, and application security.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations with external applications and systems.
• Work with IntegrationHub and ServiceNow integration capabilities as required.
• Develop notifications, events, scheduled jobs, and automated processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve ServiceNow application and scripting issues.
• Perform application testing and support Automated Test Framework (ATF) where applicable.
• Manage application deployments, Update Sets, source control, and migration between ServiceNow environments.
• Follow ServiceNow development standards, security practices, and coding best practices.
• Work with business analysts, architects, administrators, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed applications and integrations.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Required Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification Required.
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow application development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with ServiceNow client-side and server-side scripting.
• Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Glide APIs.
• Experience with ServiceNow tables, forms, data models, and application architecture.
• Experience with Flow Designer and process automation.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow security using ACLs, roles, and application access controls.
• Experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with ServiceNow application deployment and migration.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow development best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Experience with IntegrationHub.
• Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience with ServiceNow source control and application repository.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience working in enterprise ServiceNow environments.

Experience

• 3+ years of overall ServiceNow experience preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow application development experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying ServiceNow applications in production environments.

Education
