Job Description

Position: Payroll Specialist Executive & Equity Compensation

100% Remote

Hiring: Fulltime with Hexaware Technologies

Prior experience in:

  • Supporting executive compensation payroll processing programs like bonuses and long-term incentives.
  • Working with equity compensation such as RSUs and stock options.
  • Supporting payroll processing and validation for equity-based compensation programs.
  • Project management working with multiple stakeholders delivering successful changes.

Role Purpose:

Payroll Specialist responsible for the end-to-end execution and continuous improvement of assigned payroll processes, with a strong focus on equity-based and employee stock purchase compensation programs. The role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely delivery through robust data integrity, excellent customer service, third-party provider coordination, and audit/reporting support.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver "Best in Class" payroll service, maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legal and policy requirements.
  • Execute and validate payroll processing for equity-based compensation and employee stock purchase programs, including input coordination, calculation validation, tax/withholding considerations, and accurate reporting.
  • Support and lead payroll projects from requirements gathering and testing through to stakeholder management and delivery of measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers and internal stakeholders (HR, Total Rewards, Finance, Tax) to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Support audit, controls, and reporting requirements in line with applicable legislation and internal policies.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and fluency in English.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally in a multinational, service-oriented environment.
  • Critical: Hands-on experience in payroll processing for equity compensation and employee stock purchase programs (e.g., RSUs, stock options, ESPP, long-term incentives).
  • Required: Demonstrated experience supporting or leading projects within the payroll space (e.g., process change, system rollout, provider transition).
  • Ability to operate in a complex, fast-changing environment across multiple stakeholders and timelines.
