Self-Employed Delivery Driver – ATA North

Pay: £195 per day – fuel included

ATA North is looking for reliable, professional and hardworking self-employed Delivery Drivers to join our delivery operation in Motherwell - ML1 postcode

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced multi-drop drivers looking for a competitive daily rate and the chance to work with an established logistics business.

Vehicle Options

Own Van: Drivers providing their own vehicle must have a suitable 3.5T van and the required courier insurance and any other applicable cover.

Rental Van: Alternatively, you can rent a suitable vehicle through one of our preferred rental suppliers. Rental costs, deposits and terms will be confirmed during recruitment.

The Role

As a UPS Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily parcel delivery and collection routes.
• Scanning parcels and recording deliveries accurately.
• Following UPS procedures and delivery instructions.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any damage or defects.
• Handling parcels safely, including items weighing up to 30kg.
• Managing your route efficiently and communicating any delays or issues.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21
• Full UK Category B driving licence held for at least two years.
• Maximum of six penalty points, subject to insurance requirements.
• At least six months' experience driving a 3.5T van.
• Minimum of three months' multi-drop delivery experience.
• Physically fit and able to lift parcels up to 30kg.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete required compliance checks.
• Reliable, organised and confident working independently.
• Smartphone with internet access, a phone holder and charging capability.

Important Information

This is a self-employed opportunity, not a PAYE position. Drivers are responsible for their own business expenses, including applicable vehicle rental and insurance costs.

Work availability and routes are subject to operational demand, and daily workloads may vary.
