Working Student / Intern Peak Operations (f/m/x) (3-month Fixed-Term Contract)
Quick Overview
Job Description
At Seven Senders, we connect people and markets, making international shipping simple.
We are Europe’s leading platform for cross-border parcel delivery, supporting e-commerce companies in scaling internationally and reaching millions of consumers across borders. By combining cutting-edge technology with strong local carrier networks, we ensure parcels move efficiently from warehouse to doorstep — whether speed or cost efficiency is the priority.
Founded in Berlin in 2015, Seven Senders has grown into a team of 200+ logistics and tech experts. Today, we proudly work with clients such as Flaconi, Shop Apotheke, and Tamaris, shaping the future of European delivery together.
Q4 is the most important quarter of our year: from Black Week to Christmas we move a multiple of our normal volume, followed by the returns peak in January. For this period we are looking for support for our Operations team. You will work wherever the need is greatest and experience the peak first-hand.
- You support our DAT team with data entry and shipment creation, making sure shipments are in the system accurately and on time.
- In the transport team, you help plan and manage transports from our clients via our cross-docks to the carrier hubs.
- You step in flexibly across teams, e.g. resolving discrepancies, coordinating with partners and clients, or analyzing volumes and KPIs.
- When needed, you also work on site at logistics partners and clients across Germany.
- You work closely with colleagues from transport, carrier management, customer management and sorting.
- You’re enrolled at a university (any field of study) and can work 20 hours per week as a working student, or up to 40 hours as an intern. (enrollment at a university is not required for the intern candidates)
- You’re resilient, keep a cool head under time pressure, and get stuck in wherever things are on fire.
- You’re confident working with Excel or Google Sheets and speak German and English at C1 level or above.
- First experience in logistics or e-commerce is a plus, as is already using AI tools such as Claude in your work.
- You enjoy working in our Berlin office and are willing to travel. A high willingness to travel is a plus, and a driving licence (class B, car) is a big plus.
What we offer:
Flexible & Hybrid Work: Our office is at Alexanderplatz; we have a hybrid working model with flexible remote-office set-up and working hours. And if you wish, you can work from almost anywhere for up to 2 months per year.
Benefits: We offer company lunches twice per month, a corporate benefits platform, and German language courses.
Mission Zero: Climate-neutral and long-term impact. With our green initiatives, we are reaching climate neutrality for ourselves, and hopefully, we're inspiring the entire logistics sector to join us to create a sustainable future.
Vibrant Culture & Community: We embody collaboration, open doors, and no-fuss results focus, and we are successful with our data-driven and efficient working approach. We like to celebrate and come together, and we strive for a workplace buzzing with energy and camaraderie, highlighted by regular team events, and company-wide celebrations.
Inclusive Environment: We value diversity and welcome all applicants regardless of ethnicity, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability.
The peak won’t wait, and neither will we: our application process is short and fast so you can start on 1 November 2026. Simply send us your CV via this page. We look forward to hearing from you!
