Software Engineer

Join a dynamic software engineering team supporting the design, development, and optimization of modern applications, databases, automation tools, and DevOps solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and improve software solutions that support applications, databases, automation tools, and DevOps practices
• Develop and maintain technical solutions using strong programming and engineering best practices
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions
• Participate in peer reviews and apply consistent software development standards
• Support applications and environments through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and service request handling
• Contribute ideas, share knowledge, and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members
• Help ensure secure front-end application practices, including appropriate use of tokens, headers, and policy controls
• Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts across the software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes

Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or a closely related technical field
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, and Spring Security
• Proficiency in at least two general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Angular, or JSF
• Experience working with software development lifecycle practices, CI/CD, DevOps, and data modeling
• Ability to analyze requirements and deliver practical, well-structured technical solutions
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and self-management skills
• Comfort working in a role that includes on-call support and production troubleshooting

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, NgRx, and RxJS
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Exposure to WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, or MQ
• Background working with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab
• Experience coaching others and serving as a trusted technical resource
