Job Description

Papiertechnologe | Wörth am Rhein, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a leading European paper industry company, recognized for its extensive operations across graphical papers, containerboard, and packaging. With a strong commitment to sustainability, this family-owned business utilizes 100% recycled paper as its raw material. The Role • Operate and monitor production equipment both on-site and via the process control system (PLS). • Manage the startup and shutdown of the paper machine, including re-establishing the paper web during breaks. • Perform roll changes and guide assigned personnel during operations. • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and replace scraper blades. • Adjust and verify paper web tension. • Monitor quality parameters using PLS, quality control systems (QLS), and laboratory data. What You'll Need • Successfully completed vocational training as a Paper Technologist or equivalent qualification. • Experience as a Paper Technologist is desirable. • Ability to work independently, with initiative, flexibility, and resilience. • Willingness to work in a 5-shift operational model.
