SPS Programmer | Ulm, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Commissioning application technology hardware, including adjusting and parameterizing sensorics, actuators, and control loops.
  • Performing process checks for system safety and optimizing the workflow of robotic systems.
  • Modifying and adapting application software and SPS programs.
  • Training manufacturing and maintenance teams on SPS systems.
  • Managing and directing complex automation projects.
  • Diagnosing and resolving SPS malfunctions.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training in a metal, IT, or electrical trade, or a degree in mechatronics, electrical, or automation engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with SIMATIC STEP7 controllers.
  • Solid understanding of MS Office applications.
  • Good command of the German language, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
