Inventory & Archive Management Consultant - 6-Month Contract - College Park, GA

Locations: College Park and Sandy Springs, GA
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract
Work Environment: On-site / Warehouse and Office
Schedule: Three days per week at the warehouse in College Park and two days per week at the Archive/Office in Sandy Springs
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory & Archive Management Consultant for a six-month contract assignment. This position combines hands-on inventory and archive management at a warehouse in College Park with office-based records-management responsibilities at the Archive/Office in Sandy Springs.

The consultant will work three days per week at the College Park warehouse, organizing, moving, tracking, and maintaining physical inventory and archived materials. The consultant will spend the remaining two days per week at the Archive/Office in Sandy Springs, supporting scanned records maintained in the organization's electronic document management system.

The ideal candidate has experience in both warehouse or inventory operations and an office environment. This individual must be comfortable performing physical work while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality when handling physical and electronic records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize, move, categorize, and maintain boxes, archived materials, and inventory within the warehouse
  • Receive, locate, retrieve, and relocate physical inventory and archived records as needed
  • Maintain organized and clearly identified warehouse and archive storage areas
  • Track inventory and archived materials and assist with routine counts, audits, and reconciliation
  • Label, catalog, and prepare materials for storage, retrieval, distribution, or shipment
  • Verify quantities, storage locations, and records and identify discrepancies
  • Enter and update inventory, archive, and location information in computer systems or spreadsheets
  • Review, organize, update, and maintain scanned records within the electronic document management system
  • Retrieve electronic documents and verify that scanned records are accurate, complete, and properly categorized
  • Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records
  • Handle organizational records with appropriate care, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Follow established inventory, records-management, warehouse, office, and workplace-safety procedures
  • Assist with other inventory, archive, records-management, and operational projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, records management, document storage, shipping and receiving, or a related environment preferred
  • Previous experience working in an office or administrative environment
  • Experience working with scanned records, electronic files, or a document management system preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry, spreadsheets, and electronic recordkeeping
  • Ability to accurately enter, retrieve, and maintain inventory and archive information
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle records and information accurately and confidentially
  • Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work on-site at both the College Park and Sandy Springs locations
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
