Inventory & Archive Management Consultant - 6-Month Contract - College Park, GA

Work Environment: On-site / Warehouse
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory & Archive Management Consultant for a six-month contract assignment in College Park, Georgia. This position will support the organization, management, and maintenance of physical inventory and archived materials within a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include moving and organizing boxes and materials, maintaining accurate inventory and archive records, and completing related data entry.

The ideal candidate is comfortable performing hands-on physical work while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy when managing inventory, archived materials, and electronic records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize, move, categorize, and maintain boxes, archived materials, and inventory within the warehouse
  • Receive, locate, retrieve, and relocate physical inventory and archived records as needed
  • Maintain organized and clearly identified warehouse and archive storage areas
  • Track inventory and archived materials and assist with routine counts, audits, and reconciliation
  • Enter and update inventory, archive, and location information in computer systems or spreadsheets
  • Verify quantities, locations, and records and identify discrepancies
  • Label, catalog, and prepare materials for storage, retrieval, distribution, or shipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records
  • Follow established inventory, records-management, warehouse, and workplace safety procedures
  • Assist with other inventory, archive, and operational projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, records management, document storage, shipping/receiving, or a related environment preferred
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills
  • Ability to accurately enter and maintain inventory and archive information
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes and archived materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive warehouse and archive-management tasks
