Position Overview:

The Senior Strategic IT Sourcing Consultant is a highly experienced Sourcing Lead responsible for the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies for complex IT goods and services. This role focuses on 3rd Party Expense Management and Category Strategy across Global Technology Services (GTS) and IT Management Services.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to drive cost savings, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate optimal contract terms while adhering to corporate compliance policies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy & Sourcing Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing strategies for Global Technology Services (GTS) and Enterprise Technology (ETOC).

Vendor & Contract Management: Lead negotiations for complex software, cloud, infrastructure, and IT services contracts. Maximize commercial value and drive cost-saving initiatives across technology expense portfolios.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and IT leadership to understand technology requirements, identify spend optimization opportunities, and streamline procurement processes.

Category Focus Areas: Manage 3rd-party expense across key technology streams:

FinOps & Cloud: Compute Storage, IaaS, Cloud Engineering.

Enterprise Technology Operations (ETOC): Network Technologies, Endpoint Resilience, Endpoint Technology.

Digital Workplace & Collaboration: End-user support, telecom, and collaboration platforms/tools.

Governance & Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities comply with corporate procurement guidelines, risk frameworks, and legal standard terms.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

Experience: Proven track record as a Sourcing Lead or Senior IT Procurement Consultant specializing in complex technology procurement and category management.

Domain Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in sourcing across Cloud/IaaS, FinOps, Enterprise Networks, Telecom, End User Computing, and GTS portfolios.

Negotiation Skills: Strong track record of successfully driving contract negotiations, contract structuring, vendor consolidation, and cost reductions.

Relationship Management: Ability to manage both C-suite vendor relationships and internal executive cross-functional stakeholders.
