The Role

We have found a great balance of embracing flexible working whilst also maintaining in-office collaboration with most teams meeting in the office 3 days per week.
- Spearhead Social Strategy: Take the wheel for NAB’s paid social presence, overseeing the seamless planning, flawless activation, and continuous optimisation of campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, and Snap.
- Drive Real Business Outcomes: Move beyond just running ads to become a true catalyst for growth; your focus will be on directly impacting media ROI, acquiring customers efficiently, and generating tangible revenue for the client.
- Empower a Brilliant Team: Lead, coach, and nurture a dedicated team of three social specialists, fostering a safe, collaborative, and high-performing culture where everyone feels empowered to do their best work.
- Be the Trusted Consultant: Act as NAB’s ultimate digital confidant, proactively bringing them the latest platform updates, innovative opportunities, and expert counsel to keep them at the forefront of the digital landscape.
- Unearth "So What" Insights: Dive deep into platform data alongside wider performance directors, translating complex reporting into clear, actionable insights that guide proactive campaign improvements.
Ideal Skills and Experience
A curious, commercially astute leader who loves turning complex data into winning, big-picture strategies and gets genuine joy out of mentoring a team to achieve digital excellence will absolutely thrive here. We’re also looking for;
- Deep Digital Expertise: You bring 10+ years of agency experience to the table, showcasing a rich, proven background in paid digital media performance and masterful command over major social platforms.
- Proven Leadership: You are an empathetic, proactive coach who has successfully managed and mentored a team of at least two direct reports.
- Analytical Rigour: You possess a razor-sharp focus on the numbers that matter, effortlessly navigating performance metrics like Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Exceptional Communicator: You have a brilliant knack for simplifying complex media concepts, allowing you to confidently present clear, evidence-led recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Holistic Media Mindset: While social is your bread and butter, you are a commercially astute thinker who understands exactly how social media synergises with broader channels like Programmatic and Search.
