Long Range Networked Fires Engineer | Laurel, MD, United States | Hybrid | $100,000 - $245,000 Annually

The Role

  • Design and integrate multi-modal sensing phenomenology, multi-sensor data fusion, and long-range weapon technologies into complex systems.
  • Develop novel concepts and architectures for integrating sensors, weapons, and data fusion capabilities into future combat systems.
  • Define interface requirements, information exchanges, and message data content between integrated systems.
  • Assess multi-faceted sensor performance metrics in relation to combat and weapon system needs.
  • Analyze aspects of combat and weapon system functionality for integration with networks providing integrated fire control.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and lead system of systems engineering and architecture development.

What You'll Need

  • BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in complex system of systems engineering, integration, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or similar programming languages for algorithm development and data analysis.
  • Experience with systems architecture, requirements, interface, and algorithm prototyping.
  • Background in active and passive sensors, target tracking, and sensor fusion algorithms.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
