Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Description As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Meridian, you will work on-site with customers and internal teams in New York, NY to design, build, and deploy Agents. This full-time role involves translating complex real-world workflows into technical requirements, implementing back-end services and integrations, and iterating quickly based on user feedback. You will collaborate with customers to collect context, build agents and ensure robust, secure, and scalable deployments. Day-to-day responsibilities include talking to customers, writing production-quality code, managing data pipelines, debugging and optimizing systems in live environments, and documenting solutions for long-term maintainability. You will also contribute to best practices, help improve internal tooling, and support go-live and post-deployment operations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems concepts.

• Hands-on experience with Software Development and Programming in Python.

• Proficiency in Back-End Development, including APIs, databases, and distributed services.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
\n
• Experience deploying and supporting software in production environments, ideally with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
\n
• Comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into technical solutions.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity about applied AI, and willingness to work on-site with customers in New York, NY.
\n
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ML/AI systems, or analytics tools is a plus.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment and handle responsibility for end-to-end project delivery.
