Pensions Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pensions Operations Manager to lead a DC Master Trust Member Administration team within a leading pensions organisation.

This is a senior operational role requiring extensive Defined Contribution pensions experience, strong people leadership skills and a proven background in pensions administration/operations management.

The role:

• Lead, manage and develop DC pension administration teams
• Drive service quality, operational performance and efficiency
• Oversee quality assurance, complaints and complex DC administration
• Coach and develop managers and their teams
• Manage performance, recruitment and people-related matters
• Improve processes, systems and ways of working
• Support client relationships and stakeholder meetings
• Contribute to new business, tenders and wider change initiatives

What we're looking for:

• Extensive DC pensions administration experience
• Proven operational management experience
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Excellent technical knowledge of DC administration
• Good understanding of DC scheme governance and compliance
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of DC Master Trust governance would be beneficial but not essential.
• APMI is desirable, although candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.

Interview Process:

An assessment day is provisionally scheduled for 3 September. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to deliver a presentation, followed by competency and technical questions based on their presentation and experience.
